You will work in a warm, friendly and caring environment, and play an essential role as one of the first faces people see when visiting our school. St Wilfrid’s is part of the Bosco Catholic Education Trust, providing great career progression and CPD opportunities.

Do I have to be Catholic to work in a Catholic school?

No! Our Catholic Faith is what makes St Wilfrid’s so special and it is woven into everything we do; this includes welcoming everyone that comes through our doors.

Main Purpose of the Role

The Office Manager is responsible for the effective planning, development and delivery of the school’s support functions. This role provides strategic leadership and operational management of the school’s business and financial resources, ensuring best value, compliance and efficiency across key support services in alignment with Bosco Catholic Education Trust policies, procedures and operational standards.

The post holder will oversee finance, HR, administration and aspects of premises management, and will play a key role in supporting the Headteacher, Governing Body and The Trust’s central team in the smooth and effective running of the school.

The Office Manager will also supervise support staff and contribute to the continuing development of robust systems, procedures and professional practice across support teams, ensuring effective collaboration with Trust-wide operations, processes and strategic priorities.
